Document management system is an application which European Asylum Support Office (EASO) uses to manage their documents. It includes records management, improved documents search, archive for expired documents.

EASO requested for automation of books borrowing process and automatic conversion of the documents to PDF prior to going to archive.

1Datagroup’s team developed library catalog and custom state-machine workflow in order to automate borrow process.

The workflow organizes approval process, kips track of borrow period and extensions, informs all users involved by e-mail about changes in statuses of the books.



To convert documents to PDF event receiver was developed which handles  documents moved to the archive and convert them to PDF. Spire.PDF was used to support all required document formats

•  Real time inventory visibility in the site for each countries based on the warehouse data available at country level
