The client is one of premium brand in the Athletic and Cycling industry– specializes in high cycling parts and apparels for Run, Ride and Tri sports.

• To implement hybris B2C e-Commerce solution for the Apparel Business to replace the existing Blue Martini platform and integrate with the company wide hybris PIM for Product Management and JDE ERP systems

• The site is transactional for USA and Canada with support for English and French and country specific pricing

• Non-transactional site in 8 European countries, Australia and South Americas with regional language and currencies of countries supported in one unified platform, The site is required to support the client’s professional program where the sports professionals will have multiple tiers of special pricing and buy products at a discounted price

• Changing the existing look & feel of the site to become more modern and to have consistent brand experience to the customers across different form factors by making the site responsive and same brand experience across different geographies

• 1Datagroup was contracted to do an re-platforming of the B2C Commerce Business, along with Content Management system, Customer Service and PIM integration, training and testing of Hybris and all third-party integrated applications along with long-term support along with contract to implement B2B and other sister brands

SOLUTION

1Datagroup did the re-platforming of the Apparel Business B2C e-Commerce for the North America, Europe and South America.

•  E-commerce platform built using hybris B2C 5.X accelerator with responsive design framework to match digital consumer touch-points and integrated with JDE and other third party systems

•  Phased implementation approach where USA is launched first, followed by Europe and South America, then Canada

•  Real time inventory visibility in the site for each countries based on the warehouse data available at country level

 

Special type of Pro users who can come from 3rd party industry sites or can be created in hybris with different Pro Groups and customized pricing along with workflow in Customer Service cockpit to manage the Pro users

•  Integration with Avalara for Tax and Address Validation and First Data for Payment and Gift Card solutions

•  Complex online Return and Replacement process

•  Capture order information from all consumer sales channels in hybris and pass order details to JDE for order fulfillment system

RESULTS

 

Pro User management is fully automated and need for many manual interventions are removed. The pro users can apply, renew or enroll to the program directly from the website without any offline process

•  Industry leading Return process ,where customer can initiate return, print shipping label and track return status without any customer service help. This removal of manual intervention resulted in faster return settlements and increased customer satisfaction

•  One unified site across all geographies with Single SignIn feature enabled the customer to mange accounts in multiple countries with one single user id

•  Increased footfalls and conversion rate resulted in 24% increased in revenue with decreased bounce rate
