SOLUTION

Software development workflow was split into two sub-projects:

developing an application for managing customer communications history
for developing an SMS message handling application.

History storage was held in Oracle9i database and was available for queries, occasional inserts, and massive loadings 24/7.

Simulation tools were also developed for performance and load testing to ensure that communications history tool response time is within the expected limit of fewer than 200 milliseconds for fetching 20 rows.

RESULTS

The development and testing phases have been successfully fulfilled and the system has since undergone integration and acceptance testing at the customer site. The project timeline was 9 months and its ongoing for Support Services.

The new system increased customer satisfaction, dealing with the customer care center and contributed to further reduction of uncollectable accounts.
