Background

Client provides payments for subscriptions via direct debit. In addition to processing payments in both EURO and GBP for fixed and variable payment plans, customer provides value-added technologies and services to enable merchants to effortlessly onboard customers, increase customer lifetime value and maximize revenue.

Client used new version of WooCommerce plugin that was successfully delivered by our team. In order to spread implemented solution, the client decided to release plugins with the same functionality for PrestaShop, Magento.

Challenge

Develop, implement and test integration modules for PrestaShop, Magento that will add new payment method on checkout step using client’s Direct Debit payment API.

SOLUTION

Development team analyzed already implemented WooCommerce plugin and started to migrate developed architecture for PrestaShop, Magento.

The functionality was easily transferred with all relevant configuration in admin panel of plugins.

Implemented all basic integration endpoints for client API methods to create order successfully (sign mandate, create direct debit, check direct debit issues) using native solution of platforms.
Payment gateway class that connected all processes together.
Additional plugin (scheduler services) was setup for handling direct debit issues.

Video instruction was recorded to show detailed flow of usage and configuration plugin.
